DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON - AMHERST STREET

Originally built in 1885, this historic “Charleston single” was completely reimagined to serve as both a short term rental space, as well as, accommodate comfortable living quarters for the homeowners themselves. Hamilton Builders worked closely with the city’s Board of Architectural Review to ensure that the architectural character and design was considered in every detail of the renovation. A two-story addition was built on the rear of the home, with a roof-top deck and breezeway between the new and old structure. The rear addition includes a dining room, roof deck, living room, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, and front and side porches - and so much charm!
