DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON - RUTLEDGE AVENUE

This 1890 South of Broad residence underwent a full interior renovation, blending modern updates with respect for its historic character. We refreshed every space—including two bathrooms, three bedrooms, the kitchen, living room, and laundry—while also upgrading the home’s electrical and plumbing systems. The four fireplaces were restored with original stonework and hearth detailing, and the historic floors and window pulley systems were carefully repaired and preserved. Custom cabinetry and a built-in dining banquette brought new function and charm. It was a privilege to breathe fresh life into this storied home.
